Salary Range

$117,790 - $168,272 Annually

Responsibilities

Oversee the entire life-cycle of applications, including development, testing, implementation, and maintenance. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure that applications meet business requirements and adhere to industry standards.

Manage a team of application staff, database administrators, and other Information Technology professionals. Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to foster a collaborative and high‑performing team environment.

Possess a strong knowledge of SQL databases and data architecture principles. Design and optimize database structures, ensure data integrity, and develop strategies for data storage, retrieval, and analysis.

Lead and coordinate application development projects from initiation to completion. Develop plans, allocate resources, track progress, and manage project risk to ensure successful and timely delivery of applications.

Monitor the performance of applications and systems, identify bottlenecks or areas of improvement, and implement strategies to optimize performance and enhance user experience. Design, develop, implement, and optimize SQL databases and database objects (tables, stored procedures, indexing, and statistics) ensuring stability, reliability, and performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Minimum of ten years of relevant experience.

Any combination of education and experience which demonstrates the candidate’s ability to perform successfully in this position will be considered.

Must possess and maintain a valid State of Florida Class E Driver's License.

Desirable Qualifications

Strong knowledge of SQL databases, data modeling, and data architecture principles.
Proficiency with project management methodologies and tools.
Familiarity with IT best practices and security standards.
Solid understanding of software development life‑cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
