Labor and Delivery (L&D) - Registered Nurse - Travel

Orlando, FL | Acute Care

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status using electronic fetal monitoring (EFM); candidates must pass a proctored EFM course prior to starting
• Float within Women's Services as needed
• Meet weekend shift requirements of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support safe labor, delivery, and postpartum outcomes

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Florida or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Must successfully pass the proctored EFM course upon arrival; candidates who do not pass will not be eligible to begin the assignment and may not retest for 6 months

• Experience floating within Women's Services departments
• Strong electronic fetal monitoring skills and familiarity with EFM competency assessments
• Ability to adapt quickly to new facility protocols and workflows

• Expected 36 hours per week in a specialized Labor and Delivery setting with a structured 13-week engagement
