Target General Merchandise and Food Sales teams enable a consistent guest experience by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. The Inbound Expert role supports inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing and promotional signing for General Merchandise (GM) areas of the store, and may involve Food & Beverage and Food Service responsibilities. The role includes fulfillment work to support guest needs.

• Execute a detailed, accurate and efficient sorting operation.
• Stock, organize and store reserve product and straighten merchandise on the sales floor.
• Maintain product availability on the sales floor for GM categories.
• Operate powered equipment as necessary while unloading freight or moving merchandise.
• Process defective merchandise and handle environmentally sensitive (ESIM) items in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Work in a safe manner at all times; comply with safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive up (DU) while complying with applicable laws (e.g., adult beverage regulations).
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with their needs.
• Engage with guests in a helpful way to solve their specific needs.
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target.

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

• Ability to communicate on multiple devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology as directed.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
• Ability to stay focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks within established time frames.

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Climb ladders and safely scan, handle and move merchandise, including lifting up to 44 pounds.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable attendance.
• Capable of working in varying temperatures and conditions while performing duties (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout).
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
