This full-time permanent role focuses on essential accounting functions for a not-for-profit organization dedicated to mental health and social services. You'll prepare account reconciliations, manage journal entries, and process rent changes, all while promoting equity in your work. Your contributions will help strengthen lives in the Waterloo region and Wellington County.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations
• Execute journal entries for financial adjustments
• Manage monthly fees and bank payments
• Oversee rent roll reports and annual changes
• Administer unit deposits and calculate interest on rent
Requirements:
• Relevant degree or diploma plus three years’ experience
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 and Dynamics GP
• Effective communication with clients and team members
• Initiative-driven and ability to work independently
• Commitment to equity and community support
