As a Cost Accountant reporting to the Controller, you'll analyze and prepare key production reports while ensuring compliance with GAAP standards. You'll assist in variance analysis and update cost models based on actual performance and BOMs. This role requires collaboration with various departments to identify improvement opportunities and maintain accurate inventory records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and analyze production reports

• Support daily direction setting meetings with updated data

• Analyze variances between actual and standard costs

• Update standard cost models for raw materials and labor

• Perform product audits to validate cost accuracy

Requirements:

• Diploma/degree in accounting or finance

• 3 years of cost accounting experience

• Pursuing CPA designation

• Proficient in MS Office and advanced Excel

• Knowledge of ERP systems, AS400 is a plus
