Join a dynamic finance team as an Accounting Coordinator in Kitchener. This role emphasizes hands-on experience with AP processes and Excel analysis, transitioning to a hybrid model after training.
Our client aims to enhance their financial operations and is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Coordinator. You will support vendor management and invoice processing, gaining valuable insights during a pivotal change in accounting systems. This position requires collaborative skills to ensure effective teamwork and efficient completion of tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support Accounts Payable processes including vendor management
• Process invoices and assist with weekly payment runs
• Execute transactional accounting for AP and employee expenses
• Post journal entries and accruals at month and year-end
• Collaborate on financial reporting and ad-hoc projects
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in accounting or finance
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Proficiency in Excel for financial analysis
• Quick learning of new systems and processes
• Positive team-oriented attitude
