Position: Experienced Accountant Role at Fidus
Fidus is seeking an experienced Accountant to handle essential day-to-day accounting tasks and close processes. Bring your detail-oriented mindset and analytical skills to our thriving finance team.

In this role, you will be crucial in maintaining accurate financial records and executing month-end and year-end activities. Your responsibilities will include processing invoices, managing customer invoicing and collections, and preparing financial reports. You'll draw on a strong understanding of financial processes and general accounting principles to solve problems proactively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable invoices and vendor payments

• Administer accounts receivable, including collections and follow-ups

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate issues

• Prepare accurate journal entries and ledger transactions

• Support month-end close with account reconciliations

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with Salesforce experience as an asset

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
