On-Site Bookkeeping Role in Ayr

Location: Ayr

Take on a critical role as a Bookkeeper with a distribution client in Ayr, ON, in this fully on-site, 6-month contract position. This opportunity could lead to permanent employment and involves comprehensive accounts payable processes.

Reporting to the Controller, you will be integral to the finance team, handling all facets of bookkeeping, particularly accounts payable and receivable tasks. Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills are essential for this position, along with the ability to prioritize a variety of accounting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer full-cycle accounts payable duties

• Process and reconcile vendor invoices and payments

• Address invoice discrepancies with vendors

• Maintain accurate vendor records and respond to inquiries

• Assist with monthly and weekly financial reporting

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Accounting or related field

• Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping experience

• Proficient in ERP/accounting software

• Strong Excel and organizational skills

• Proactive approach and good relationship-building skills
