Become an integral part of Virtek Vision as a Financial Accounting Specialist in Waterloo, Ontario. This full-time role emphasizes general accounting, data management, and financial reporting.

You will support the Accounting Manager by ensuring accurate financial transactions, compliance with relevant policies, and performing extensive data analysis using Excel. This position is an excellent fit for those with strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries and relevant supporting documentation

• Perform reconciliations of general ledger accounts

• Oversee accounts payable processing and assistance

• Analyze inventory activities and perform valuations

• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and controls

Requirements:

• Post secondary education in Accounting or related field

• At least 3 years of experience in an accounting role

• Proficiency in ERP systems; experience with Epicor is advantageous

• Advanced skills in Excel required

• Excellent attention to detail and communication abilities
