Technical Accounting Manager at Recurrent Energy

Drive excellence in technical accounting as the Manager at Recurrent Energy, a subsidiary of Canadian Solar. This vital role focuses on US GAAP research and regional accounting activities.

You will report to the Senior Manager for Global Technical Accounting, assuming responsibility for complex GAAP projects.

Your role encompasses drafting technical memos, supporting financial reporting, and leading regional audit processes. Collaborating with Finance, Legal, and Tax teams, you will assess implications for new initiatives while promoting a culture of technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct US GAAP research and prepare memos

• Assist with financial statement preparation and audits

• Collaborate on new initiatives and due diligence requests

• Develop finance training resources for non-financial staff

• Promote a collaborative team environment

Requirements:

• Expert knowledge of US GAAP standards

• 7+ years of relevant accounting experience

• CPA qualification necessary

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, HFM, and SAP

• Ability to influence across diverse teams
