As a Construction Technician, you will serve in one of the seven Construction Engineering roles supporting the Canadian Armed Forces. Your responsibilities include constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures, drafting specifications, and hardening field structures. This role is imperative in ensuring the protection of personnel and equipment during various operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Construct and repair buildings for personnel safety
• Produce structural designs and specifications
• Erect prefabricated structures efficiently
• Harden field structures as required
• Construct field defenses to enhance operational capacity
Requirements:
• Grade 10 education or equivalent required
• No previous experience necessary for recruitment
• Training includes Basic Military Qualification course
• Availability for part-time and full-time positions
• Commitment to physical fitness standards and training
