Job Summary

The Snow School Booking Coordinator is the frontline representative of Dagmar’s Snow School office and plays a key role in delivering exceptional customer service to guests and families. This position is responsible for lesson bookings, program registrations, guest communications, payment processing, general office duties and daily Snow School administrative support. The Booking Coordinator works closely with guests, instructors, supervisors, and office staff to ensure lessons and programs operate efficiently and provide a positive guest experience.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, customer-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced seasonal environment.

Job Duties / Responsibilities
  • Open and close the Snow School Desk, including computer systems, cash handling, float counting, and till balancing.
  • Book, modify, and cancel private and group ski and snowboard lessons.
  • Process registrations for seasonal programs, camps, school groups, and special events.
  • Handle lesson check‑ins and assist guests with program arrivals and departures.
  • Respond professionally to phone, email, and in‑person inquiries regarding lessons, programs, lift tickets, rentals, and resort services.
  • Maintain communication with instructors, supervisors, and other departments regarding lesson scheduling, special requests, and operational updates.
  • Process lift tickets and Snow School‑related transactions, including staff and program‑specific ticket requirements.
  • Analyze guest needs and recommend appropriate lesson programs, products, and services.
  • Educate customers on using the online booking system and assist with troubleshooting booking or payment issues.
  • Maintain accurate booking records, participant information, and transaction documentation.
  • Assist with waitlists, lesson changes, program transfers, and guest conflict resolution.
  • Support the Snow School Manager and Administrator with daily operational requirements as needed.
  • Ensure all Snow School policies, procedures, and guest service standards are consistently followed.
  • Assist with pre‑season preparation and administrative setup for Snow School programs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in customer service, guest services, administration, or hospitality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional, courteous, and confident telephone manner with the ability to represent Dagmar positively in all interactions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional, dependable, and solution‑oriented approach.
  • Ability to remain calm, positive, and customer-focused during busy operational periods.
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and peak operating periods throughout the winter season.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a ski resort, Snow School, recreation, hospitality, or customer service environment.
  • Familiarity with ski and snowboard lesson structures and terminology.
  • Experience with booking, reservation, or registration systems.
  • Previous coordinator or supervisory experience is considered an asset.
  • Multilingual abilities are considered an asset.
  • Skiing and/or snowboarding experience is considered an asset.
