Part-Time Receptionist Dispatcher

Support animal welfare in Kitchener as a permanent part-time Receptionist/Dispatcher handling customer service and animal-related inquiries. Occasional travel to Stratford may be required.

The Humane Society seeks a Receptionist/Dispatcher for the Kitchener Centre. You will answer calls, provide information, support adoption and intake inquiries, and dispatch calls to officers. The position also includes cash-flow management, records, paperwork, and communication with the Manager and team.

• Answer incoming calls about animal cruelty and by-law enforcement
• Provide in-person adoption, intake, and by-law customer service
• Dispatch calls to officers and redirect inquiries appropriately
• Manage daily cash flow and maintain departmental records
• Communicate departmental needs and activities with the team

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and collaboration skills
• Organizational ability to manage multiple duties
• Microsoft Windows, Word, and basic office equipment proficiency
• Willingness to work afternoons and weekends
