Company Description
A well-established organization with over 25 years of success and growth has several Architectural CAD Operator/Designer positions available as a result of their continued growth. This organization is the leader in providing architectural and design services to top-tier retail and institutional clients on a national level. They are an organization that completes full ground-up base building designs as well as interior designs.
As a result of further organizational growth they are looking to add a few more Architectural CAD Operators with REVIT and AUTOCAD Experience.
Compensation
$60,000 – $70,000 + RSP + benefits and other great perks
Position Description
We are seeking and Architectural CAD Operator/Designer that will be responsible for, but not limited to the following tasks:
Preparation of concept drawings and renderingsCompiling full set of working drawings for designs in the retail and institutional sector, ensuring building code compliance and municipal bylawsCompleting permit applications and all pertinent municipal and provincial documentsWork with Project Managers, Designers and Engineers to incorporate all specifications in accordance with clients’ design and construction requirementsExperience
4+ years’ experience compiling Architectural Drawings and DesignsAutoCAD and Revit experience an mustStrong knowledge of Ontario building codes and municipal requirementsProven retail project experience#LI-DNI
Qualifications
4+ years’ experience compiling architectural drawings as a Designer, CAD Operator or TechnologistMinimum of 1 year of AutoCAD experienceMinimum of 1 year of Revit experienceRetail Project Experience a MUSTEducation
Post-secondary education in architecture or related field of study
