This part-time role requires teaching mathematics and science from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, to students in Grades 9-12. The successful candidate will follow a pre-established curriculum, completing rigorous training in Oxford Learning’s effective teaching strategies. Engage students in developing their confidence and understanding across various subject areas.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct multiple students at different levels simultaneously
• Implement Oxford Learning’s tutoring methodologies
• Keep accurate records of student performance and participation
• Maintain a positive and professional approach in all interactions
• Support students as they tackle academic challenges
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or comparable in a relevant discipline
• Teaching certification preferred
• Comprehensive knowledge of the high school curriculum
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience is essential
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
