Applications for the permanent position of Key Instructor
- Italian Key Language are being accepted by the International Languages
- Elementary Program for St. Louis Adult Learning and Continuing Education Centres.
General Description of Duties if addition to instructor duties:
Foster a collaborative, positive, engaging an inspiring environment within the school's community: teachers, parents, volunteers and community members
Assist teachers with needs related to teaching the school's curriculum in the physical teaching environment
Manage positive team interactions including formal and informal meetings focused on the school's improvement and wellbeing of students
Provide support to facilitate selection and development of materials and school's curriculum
Coordinate the flow of information between the Program Manager, Instructors, Site Supervisor, parents, and students as required
Assist to arrange for a suitable supply when an Instructor is absent
Provide support to maintain accurate and up-to-date class lists of all students enrolled in the school
Work closely with the Site Supervisor in planning program and school events and managing a calendar of those events: cultural events, open houses, parent-teacher interviews
Community liaison: participating in community cultural events, promoting the language school in the community; participating in the meetings with community representatives

Saturdays 9:00 - 11:30am 2.5 hours/week
Rate of Pay: $35.97/ hour (plus vacation pay)
