Serve students with diverse needs as a Full-Time Psychology Consultant at the Waterloo Catholic District School Board. This position involves assessment and consultation to enhance educational programming for students in grades JK-12.
As part of the Student Services Team, you will conduct psycho educational assessments and provide recommendations tailored to each student's needs.
Your role includes consultation with principals, teachers, parents, and community agencies, ensuring a collaborative approach to support students' mental health and educational success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct psycho educational assessments for JK-12 students
• Provide recommendations for individual educational programming
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in school settings
• Consult with parents, teachers, and community services
• Diagnose various psychological conditions in children and adolescents
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in School or Clinical Psychology
• Registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario
• Experience in comprehensive psycho educational assessment
• Strong communication skills in oral and written formats
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for travel
