Lessons Instructor at Long & McQuade

Long & McQuade is looking for a skilled Lessons Teacher to provide music lessons in various instruments. Enjoy the independence of being an independent contractor at our Lesson Centres.

Ideal candidates will have a music degree or an equivalent proficiency, along with proven teaching experience across different age groups. Knowledge of standard teaching methods is essential for delivering engaging and effective lessons, whether in private or group formats. This position allows for creativity and personalized lesson planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach lessons in piano, guitar, bass, and drums

• Provide instruction for woodwinds, brass, strings, and voice

• Implement effective teaching strategies and curricula

• Work with students of all ages in various settings

• Offer valuable feedback to enhance learning

Requirements:

• Music degree or diploma from an accredited institution

• Grade 8 RCM standing with Grade 2 Rudiments

• Professional equivalency may apply

• Prior teaching experience with students of different ages

• Knowledge of curriculum standards in music instruction
