Become a Camp Coordinator at Monarch House, enhancing the summer experience for children with autism and developmental delays. This part-time role focuses on engaging activities and support.
As the Camp Coordinator, you will be instrumental in planning and fostering a fun, supportive environment for kids with ASD. You will oversee daily activities and motivate campers to participate creatively.
Your role will adapt to meet the individual needs and behavioral dynamics of the group, making each day a rewarding experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the coordination of engaging camp activities
• Inspire campers to choose activities and engage
• Foster teamwork and address behavioral challenges
• Adjust to changing routines creatively
• Document incidents appropriately via Microsoft Teams
Requirements:
• ABA instructor experience or similar background
• Clear criminal background check for vulnerable populations
• Familiarity with ASD or developmental disabilities
• Program coordination or recreational experience preferred
• Degree or enrollment in related fields like Educational Psychology
