Applicant Requirements
Applicants must submit a Criminal Record Check (CRC) including the vulnerable sector acceptable to the board.

Pay and Terms
Pay for a teaching position at the WRDSB is in alignment with the terms of the Central Agreement with ETFO. The pay is based on QECO qualifications and years of experience, as outlined in this chart.

Long‑term occasional teachers in an assignment greater than 80 instructional days or 4 months in duration are eligible for up to five (5) full unpaid days per school year.

Long‑term occasional teachers in an assignment greater than 30 instructional days but less than 80 instructional days in duration are eligible to take up to one (1) unpaid day during the term of their assignment.

These days must be requested through Human Resources Services according to the timelines outlined in the Collective Agreement.
