Position Summary
:This elective course provides an overview of the reading and writing difficulties experienced by students in grades K through 10 who struggle with literacy competence. Teacher Candidates will learn about informal, classroom-based tools used to assess and diagnose reading difficulties. They will also learn various strategies to differentiate instruction within an inclusive teaching-learning environment.
Qualifications – Required Academic Degree: Master’s degree in Education;
Bachelor of Education and/or K – 12 Teaching Certification; K-6 Ontario teaching experience with expertise supporting students with reading disabilities
