Overview
KW Montessori School is seeking a Montessori Casa Teacher. KWMS is located in Kitchener-Waterloo and is a CCMA-accredited school that has been offering authentic Montessori programming for 50 years. Our programs include Casa to Upper Elementary. We are seeking an individual who is a team player, respectful, organized, self‑motivated and has a genuine love of children.
Responsibilities
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with all staff members
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with staff and community service providers
Positive attitude
Strong and effective classroom management skills
A true love for working with children
Qualifications
AMI/MACTE accredited Montessori training
Experience in a Montessori classroom is an asset
Current Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)
Current Standard First Aid and CPR/AED Level C certification
Up‑to‑date immunization health screening/record
