Core French and Music Teacher

Position: Core French and Music Teacher Needed
Location: St. Jacobs

Join the Waterloo Region District School Board as a Core French and Music Teacher for Grade 1 students. Applicants are required to hold a valid FSL Part 1 qualification and possess proven teaching abilities.

This position is open to candidates not currently on the WRDSB occasional teacher roster. Applicants must provide a current Certificate of Qualification and submit a satisfactory Criminal Record Check before beginning employment. Ensure your applications are sent through Apply to Education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct Grade 1 students in French language and music

• Assess and adapt curriculum according to student needs

• Collaborate with fellow teachers on educational initiatives

• Maintain a supportive classroom atmosphere

• Communicate student progress to parents and guardians

Requirements:

• FSL Part 1 qualification mandatory

• Up-to-date Certificate of Qualification needed

• Experience delivering French curriculum

• Required Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector

• Strong management and communication skills
