In this crucial role, reporting to the Team Lead, Ultrasound, you will ensure that students gain comprehensive and practical clinical experiences. You will supervise their progress, assist in organizing educational rounds, and ensure patient and team safety throughout their training period. Your expertise will play a vital role in bridging education and clinical practice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and assess ultrasound student clinical performance
• Conduct educational rounds and evaluations regularly
• Ensure safety standards for patients and students
• Liaise between educational institutions and clinical staff
• Mentor students in developing technical and professional skills
Requirements:
• Graduate from a recognized Ultrasound Technology program
• CMRITO registration required; RVT and additional certifications preferred
• 3-5 years of ultrasound experience
• Commitment to ongoing education and training
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team
Contribute to excellence in patient care and education at Grand River Hospital.
