Position: Early Childhood Educator Supply Positions Available
Become a Supply Designated Early Childhood Educator with the Waterloo Region District School Board. This role focuses on fostering early childhood learning in collaborative classroom settings.

Qualified applicants must hold a two-year Early Childhood Education Diploma or be graduating soon, with registration pending or confirmed with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators. As a DECE, you will oversee student engagement, plan effective activities, and support ongoing learning programs. Positions are available on a flexible on-call basis during the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute early learning programs alongside teachers

• Supervise student interactions in classrooms and extended occasions

• Facilitate age-appropriate learning opportunities daily

• Uphold direct reporting to the school Principal

• Assist in maintaining an enriching educational environment

Requirements:

• Completion or progress in Early Childhood Education Diploma

• Proof of registration with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators

• Valid CPR Level C/AED certification

• Successful Criminal Background Check required

• Ability to meet physical testing requirements
