Become a Student Library Assistant at the Region of Waterloo's New Dundee Library. Engage in shelving materials, customer support, and learn essential library functions in a dynamic environment.

The position of Library Page involves assisting the supervisor in a variety of tasks that maintain library collections and serve patrons. Duties include shelving books, managing circulation of materials, and assisting with library technology. You will also support library events and provide customer service, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all library users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shelf library materials in correct order

• Circulate books and periodicals for members

• Assist patrons with library tech and resources

• Notify members regarding reserves and overdue items

• Help prepare displays and support library programs

Requirements:

• Must be a full-time secondary or post-secondary student

• Minimum age of 15 for employment eligibility

• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Knowledge of library resources preferred
