We’re excited to see you explore this opportunity to join the International team as an International Student Experience Advisor. We're looking for someone who can find ways forward, be compassionate, and start small and think BIG in the planning, organizing, and implementation of events supporting international student success and retention.

Connect students with essential resources and services, including housing, healthcare, banking, transportation, taxes, and community supports.

Develop and maintain strong partnerships with housing providers, community organizations, and internal stakeholders to enhance student support and access to resources.

Design and facilitate inclusive cultural, social, and orientation programs that promote engagement, cross-cultural understanding, and a sense of belonging.

Conduct individual student consultations to assess needs, address challenges, and provide guidance on academic, personal, and cultural transitions.

Create clear, engaging communications and promotional content that increase awareness of student programs, services, and opportunities for involvement.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 3+ years' experience delivering social programs and activities for young adults, combined with experience working within a cross-cultural setting or overseas
  • Video creation and editing skills
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in another language consistent with current international student enrollment or with languages of prospective students in new and emerging target recruitment markets
