Equipment Trainer

Become an Equipment Trainer & Evaluator with OSG in Kitchener/Cambridge. Lead engaging mobile equipment training programs while reinforcing safety practices and compliance in diverse workplace settings.

OSG is seeking an Equipment Trainer & Evaluator to support our training and service delivery team. This in-person role involves evaluating equipment training programs for operators, covering forklifts, aerial work platforms, and overhead cranes. The position requires adapting training delivery to meet learners' diverse needs and fostering effective communication across various environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate training using adult learning principles

• Conduct practical evaluations of various mobile equipment

• Reinforce legislative requirements during sessions

• Engage learners in meaningful training environments

• Provide fair and consistent operator evaluations

Requirements:

• Certification in Forklift, Aerial Work Platform, or Overhead Crane

• 1+ years experience in health and safety or training

• Knowledge of health and safety legislation

• Strong communication skills with clients and learners

• Valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle
