Junior School HomeForm Science Teacher

Take on the role of Junior School Home Form and Science Teacher at Innov Oak School, where you'll inspire students from Grades 1 to 6. This position emphasizes Science education and hands-on learning experiences.

Starting in September 2026, this full-time opportunity arises from increased enrollment. You'll have the chance to shape a new classroom while teaching Science, Coding, and Field Studies. This includes facilitating field studies that connect learning to real-world scenarios and nature.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the Home Form teacher for Grades 1-6

• Deliver instruction in Science and Coding

• Organize a welcoming and engaging classroom

• Build relationships with students and their families

• Enable inquiry-based learning through exploration

Requirements:

• Ontario College of Teachers certification strongly preferred

• Passionate about student growth and Science

• Interest or experience in coding and STEM education

• Strong organizational and management skills

• Collaborative approach to teaching and learning
