Youth Program Facilitator Part-Time YMCA

Location: Stratford

Make a difference as a Part-Time Youth Program Facilitator with the YMCA of Three Rivers in Stratford/Perth. This role focuses on fostering positive relationships with youth aged 13-24 and delivering impactful programming.

You will play a crucial role in leading programs designed for youth development, including sessions on leadership and sports. Collaborating closely with Youth Engagement Workers, the position requires adaptability to meet the diverse needs of young participants. Your schedule will include afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends to support program activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate engaging and inclusive programs for youth

• Empower youth to develop leadership and teamwork skills

• Maintain strong relationships with community organizations

• Deliver high-quality program experiences tailored to youth needs

• Foster a welcoming environment for all participants

Requirements:

• Proven experience working with youth from various backgrounds

• Understanding of adolescent development and healthy practices

• Relevant post-secondary education preferred

• Current First Aid and CPR certification mandatory

• Transportation availability to partner sites is necessary
