Ideal candidates are students or recent graduates interested in history and education. As a part-time Heritage Educator, you will lead engaging guided tours, present interpretive programs, and assist in organizing special events. You will also handle the point of sale system and be responsible for basic custodial operations to maintain the site’s cleanliness and appeal.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver educational programming
• Lead visitors on guided historical tours
• Support special events organization and implementation
• Perform tasks with the site’s point of sale system
• Carry out daily cleaning duties for public areas
Requirements:
• Current or recent secondary/post-secondary student
• Ability to convey information accurately and effectively
• Strong teamwork and communication skills required
• Dependable, with good judgment in visitor interactions
• Specify bilingual skills in your application if applicable
