Position: Occasional Teacher for French Language
Pursue a long-term occasional teaching opportunity in French at St Josephine Bakhita starting September 2, 2026. This role invites certified teachers to make a meaningful impact.

At WCDSB, we are looking for a qualified individual to teach French as a Second Language during a long-term assignment until approximately October 30, 2026. Preference is given to candidates already on the Daily Occasional Teacher List, with external certified applicants also considered. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement effective French lessons

• Engage students through dynamic teaching methods

• Assess student learning and provide support

• Collaborate with other educators for optimal curriculum delivery

• Uphold an enriching learning atmosphere in the classroom

Requirements:

• Ontario teaching certification required

• Strong background or interest in French education

• Two professional academic references

• Cover letter and updated resume needed

• Clear Vulnerable Sector Check required
