Teach Tech - Construction/Woodworking at Eastwood C.I. for the fall semester, from September 2 to November 27, 2026. Ideal candidates must hold OCT qualifications for this long-term occasional role.
This position welcomes Secondary Occasional Teachers on the WRDSB roster and qualified external applicants. Candidates must submit a current Certificate of Qualification as part of the application. The role may involve a teaching day on September 4, which is unpaid.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging lessons in Tech - Construction/Woodworking
• Assess student performance and provide feedback
• Participate in school activities and staff meetings
• Ensure a safe and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with colleagues and administration
Requirements:
• Hold OCT qualifications in Tech - Construction/Woodworking
• Be an active Secondary Occasional Teacher on the WRDSB roster
• Submit current Certificate of Qualification
• Demonstrate commitment to equity and inclusion
• Willingness to accommodate diverse student needs
