Temporary Full-Time for approximately 18-months | Monday to Friday | Rotating shifts between 7:00am and 6:00pm
Pay Rate: $30.36 per hour (based on current funding) plus 2% in lieu of benefits

In this Role, you will contribute to the Community by ...

Planning and implementing a stimulating, developmentally appropriate play-based program for children and their families

Working as part of a team of Childcare Workers and monitor the quality of the program

Providing a warm and nurturing environment for children and families

Maintaining effective communication with staff, parents and coordinator

Ensuring the health and safety of the children

Acting as a positive role model for the children

Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in the area of Early Childhood Education and development.

Previous experience working with children

Knowledge of and familiarity with the Child Care and Early Years Act and use of environmental assessment tools.

Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with staff, parents, children, and the public.

Mandatory Qualifications

Registered Early Childhood Educator Diploma

College of Early Childhood Educators registration number

Current Vulnerable Sector Check document

Standard First Aid and CPR Level-C certification
