Position: CHANCES Early Childhood Support Staff
Location: Stratford

Become part of CHANCES as an Early Childhood Support Staff member until March 31, 2027. This role emphasizes mentorship, child engagement, and educator support in early childhood programs.

As a Pedagogical Support Staff, you will provide essential support to Early Childhood Educators in creating a rich learning environment for children aged 2-11. Your responsibilities will include fostering trusting relationships with children and families, observing developmental progress, and assisting educators in program delivery aligned with the PEI Early Learning Framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain a child-centered learning environment

• Facilitate engaging daily activities for children

• Help children develop essential life skills

• Monitor and adapt programs based on children's needs

• Collaborate with parents and caregivers in their child’s development

Requirements:

• Early Childhood Education certificate required

• Experience with children aged 2-11 years

• Knowledge of the PEI Early Learning Framework

• Current First Aid and CPR certification

• Strong teamwork and communication abilities

Contribute to children's growth and development while supporting educators at CHANCES.
