Support young learners as an Instructor with Strong Start®'s Get Ready for School™ program. This role focuses on children ages 3 to 4, providing vital reading skills through engaging activities.
At Strong Start, you'll work closely with a collaborative team to prepare children for Junior Kindergarten. This position emphasizes purpose-driven play and proven instructional methods, allowing you to develop your skills while making a significant impact. You will help foster early literacy skills and positive classroom behaviors in a nurturing learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage children through whole group and individual instruction
• Build positive relationships with children and their families
• Implement prescribed teaching strategies and lessons
• Support administration by keeping accurate program records
• Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
• Minimum of one year working with children in educational settings
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience with diverse populations and exceptional needs
• Ability to lift program materials and engage in floor-level activities
• Current certification in First Aid and CPR-C
