Position: Long-Term Occasional Teacher FSL Position
Embrace a meaningful teaching role with a long-term occasional position at St Mark, starting immediately until June 30, 2027. This position primarily focuses on French as a Second Language.

The Waterloo Catholic District School Board (WCDSB) offers this opportunity first to certified occasional teachers on its Daily Teacher List. External certified teachers may also apply and can gain placement on this list upon successful hiring. French qualifications are preferred, and candidates with other backgrounds in teaching French are welcomed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging French as a Second Language lessons

• Support diverse learners in their language acquisition

• Participate in necessary training and development

• Collaborate with educational staff for curriculum enhancement

• Maintain ongoing professional growth and support

Requirements:

• Certification as a teacher from Ontario College of Teachers

• Strong interest or background in teaching French

• Two professional academic references

• Valid Roman Catholic baptismal certificate

• Vulnerable Sector Check upon hiring
