Deliver Personal Support Worker education with Para Med, using strong presentation skills and clinical knowledge to train staff across the district. This full time position requires travel.
As Clinical Educator for Personal Support Services, you report to the Care and Service Manager. You deliver Home Support Worker and Personal Support Worker orientation, classroom and laboratory curriculum, and in services. Your education supports safe, quality, client centered care across business lines.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver Home Support Worker and Personal Support Worker orientation
- Teach curriculum in classrooms and laboratories
- Evaluate student progress, achievement, and assigned course work
- Champion Para Med policies and procedures through staff education
- Provide annual refreshers on classroom trained skills
- Registered Practical Nurse registration in good standing
- At least three years in adult education
- Community Registered Practical Nurse experience preferred
- Strong presentation, interpersonal, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Driver’s license, vehicle, computer skills, and travel availability
