Advanced Care Paramedic; ACP

Sirius Wilderness Medecine (SIRIUSMEDx) is a Canadian company founded in 1990 that specializes in providing medical support services in remote regions.

• Experience in a similar position on industrial sites, in remote areas, and with medical evacuations (Med Evac).
• Valid Advanced Care Paramedic licence.
• Valid Occupational First Aid Level 3 certification (OFA3).
• Demonstrated adaptability, initiative, and resourcefulness.
• Passion for providing care in remote areas.
• Administering all required care to ill or injured workers supported by a remote on‑call physician and our collective prescriptions.
• Keeping inventory of care products and medications up‑to‑date.
• Obtaining health histories of all workers on site and compiling this information into worker files.
• Providing first aid training to workers.
• Conducting audits and inspections of camp safety systems.
• Participating in site communication procedures.
• Documenting and archiving notes regarding any work‑related incident or accident.
• Performing any other low‑risk related tasks as requested by the client or their representative.

Rotation every 2 or 3 weeks.

Travel arrangements are managed by the employer, and meal expenses are reimbursed according to the current regulations. You also receive compensation during your travel.

Employees are accommodated and provided meals at our clients' sites.

Our work environment is in remote areas, in communion with nature. The majority of our projects are mining or construction sites.

Varies between 10 and 12 hours depending on assignment.

Starting from $37.95 (based on experience/seniority).
