Elevate renewable energy services as a Lead Roving Technician with Canadian Solar in Elora, Ontario. This on-site role focuses on commissioning and maintenance of Battery Energy Storage Systems.
In your position at Canadian Solar, you will be an essential part of the service team, ensuring effective operation of Sol Bank Storage Power Block systems and fulfilling Long Term Service Agreements for Battery Energy Storage System projects. You will provide hands-on support, training, and technical guidance while coordinating with project managers and clients across various Ontario sites.
Key Responsibilities:
• Commission and maintain Sol Bank Storage Power Block systems
• Supervise field operations and support technicians
• Coordinate with project managers during commissioning
• Train new service technicians on processes and CMMS
• Develop and improve operational procedures and safety compliance
Requirements:
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years experience in service or renewable energy
• Knowledge of power systems and photovoltaic applications
• Strong communication and project management skills
• Willingness to travel extensively for site support
