Avidbots is looking for an experienced Senior Hardware Developer dedicated to enhancing our autonomous floor scrubbing robots. This role involves working on electrical sub-modules, PCB designs, and tackling complex system challenges. As part of a specialized hardware team, you will ensure compliance with safety standards and explore innovative electrical solutions tailored to robotic applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design electrical sub-modules and contribute to systems engineering
• Lead PCB and layout design for analog and digital circuits
• Resolve challenges in schematic and PCB design
• Collaborate closely with mechanical teams to refine designs
• Implement Functional Safety Management plans effectively
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
• Minimum 7 years of hardware design experience
• Proficient in PCB layout and electrical testing
• Understanding of functional safety metrics and standards
• Passionate, self-motivated team player in robotics field
