Automation Hardware Controls Designer

About the Company

Our growing Kitchener client is recruiting for a key member for their controls team, an Automation Controls Hardware Designer. You will design and develop world‑class automation solutions by contributing to machine concepts, designing integration systems and hardware integration with electrical and mechanical systems, and process development. You will work with leading‑edge technologies and processes utilizing PLCs, HMIs, PCs, robotics, motion controllers, drives, vision systems, lasers, and other controllers.

You have 5 years of experience designing hardware systems with a diploma or degree specializing in automation and can also commission & troubleshoot.

• Process development

Bachelor's degree or Technologist in Automation or a related field

• PLC's, PC's, robotics, motion controllers, vision systems, integration and autocad
