WSP Canada seeks an experienced Field Technician to enhance the Remediation Program in Ontario. This full-time role involves supervising remediation efforts and managing on-site health and safety.
You will travel frequently across the province, overseeing critical environmental projects and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Your work will include collecting soil and groundwater samples, as well as managing subcontractors during various remediation activities. Strong communication and time-management skills are key to success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and implement health and safety plans
• Monitor groundwater and collect data samples
• Direct subcontractor activities and site operations
• Keep organized and precise field notes
• Follow regulatory and safety standards diligently
Requirements:
• At least three years of supervisory experience
• Degree in environmental sciences preferred
• Proficient in communication and detail-oriented
• Valid driver’s license and travel readiness
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
