Geomodeller​/Structural Geologist

Overview

GEI Consultants Canada, following its merger with Terrane (Halifax), seeks an intermediate to senior‑level geo‑modeler/structural geologist to lead projects in mining and infrastructure sectors across Canada and worldwide.

Lead and construct complex 3‑D geological and structural models using Leapfrog Geo; manage project delivery, collaborate with clients and internal teams, and undertake travel and field work as required.

Flexible within Canada, with a preference for Fredericton, Halifax or Kelowna.

• Expertise in 3‑D geological modelling with Leapfrog Geo.
• Undergraduate degree or higher in geology or geological engineering.
• 5–15 years of industry experience focused on 3‑D modelling and structural geology.
• Willingness to travel and work in remote field locations.
• Geological field mapping experience (asset).
• Spanish or French second language (asset).

• Professional and responsive communicator with exceptional client management skills.
• Positive attitude, team player, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Receptive to feedback and collaboration with peers.
• Driver’s license.
• Registration or immediate eligibility for Canadian P.Geo or P.Eng status.
• Canadian work permit or citizenship.
