Service Technician

Position: Full-Time Service Technician
Become a Full-Time Service Technician with Canadian Solar in Kitchener, ON and engage in vital maintenance and support for solar energy storage solutions. Your expertise will directly impact operational efficiency.
Reporting to the Regional Service Manager, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the CSI Energy Storage’s Sol Bank systems. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of five years' experience in a service capacity, particularly within renewable energy. You will oversee subcontractors, perform maintenance, and help create standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Commission and maintain Sol Bank Storage Power Block systems

• Conduct both preventative and corrective maintenance work

• Provide expert troubleshooting and diagnostic support

• Manage subcontractor activities to meet project requirements

• Develop and implement standard procedures to optimize processes
Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline

• 5+ years of experience in relevant service roles

• Knowledge of energy storage and medium voltage power systems

• Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal formats

• Willingness to travel for work over 50% of the time
