Precision Fixture & Gauge Designer

Harness your mechanical design skills at Answer Precision Technologies, creating custom fixtures and gauges that ensure product integrity. This onsite role utilizes Cimatron or Solid Works for detailed designs.

In this position, you'll focus on designing specialized measuring tools for high-volume manufacturing. Collaborating closely with engineering, sales, and production teams, your challenge will be to interpret complex requirements into effective measurement strategies. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills will guide your approach to engineering decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design precision gauges and inspection tooling using Solid Works

• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements

• Produce 3D models and complete BOMs for projects

• Resolve design issues in collaboration with assembly teams

• Ensure designs meet customer specifications

Requirements:

• GD&T proficiency is required

• Experience with Cimatron or Solid Works

• Capability to interpret engineering drawings

• Strong communication of design intent

• Ability to work both independently and as a team member
