Join e-STORAGE as a Battery Energy Systems Engineer. This in office prospect in Kitchener, ON, focuses on the design and development of high-performance energy storage solutions.
As part of our creative team, you will engage in the complete design lifecycle of hardware used in inverters and energy storage systems. Your role will be pivotal in shaping robust, certifiable electronic hardware that propels the renewable energy transition forward.
Key Responsibilities- Convert functional and regulatory requirements into schematics
- Design electrical hardware layouts for power and sensing circuits
- Ensure compliance with safety standards in design processes
- Develop documentation for PCB production and validation
- Participate in design reviews to enhance manufacturability
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years in PCB design and embedded systems
- Proficiency in UL and IEC compliance regulations
- Experience with high-speed signal and mixed-signal designs
- Familiarity with design tools like Altium Designer
