In this role, you will leverage your bakery R&D expertise to support manufacturing teams in enhancing product quality and efficiency. You’ll conduct evaluations, improve processes, and provide training across facilities, ensuring products meet customer expectations. You will also work with departments like Product Development and Quality Assurance on new product launches and improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and optimize bakery processes to reduce complaints
• Investigate product variations scientifically
• Innovate and test new bakery technologies
• Train teams on new manufacturing processes
• Identify cost savings through process improvements
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in Food Science or Engineering
• 1+ years of Bakery R&D experience
• Strong analytical skills for decision-making
• Excellent interpersonal communication
• Willingness to travel within Canada (25%)
