Our products are used worldwide in machine vision, document scanning, image capture, surveillance, process monitoring, manufacturing inspection, medical imaging, and multimedia. We are recruiting for an Analog Mixed-Signal IC Designer in Waterloo as part of our continued growth in the high-technology market.
Responsibilities   Design, simulate, and verify analog and mixed‑signal CMOS circuits.
Contribute to block‑level transistor design using modern design tools.
Support layout development and ensure designs meet performance targets.
Validate mixed‑signal devices in the lab and help diagnose issues.
Collaborate with product definition, systems, and project teams.
Work with internal and external customers to align on technical needs.
Innovate solutions to complex design challenges.
Participate in reviews from concept to production release.
Support documentation and design best practices.
Contribute to continuous improvement within the design flow.
Qualifications   Strong problem‑solving and communication skills (required).
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment (required).
Experience in analog/mixed‑signal IC design and simulation (required).
Skills in transistor‑level CMOS circuit design and verification (required).
Knowledge of Verilog or Verilog‑AMS (required).

Experience with lab debug of mixed‑signal devices (required).
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required).

Experience with CMOS image sensors (advantage).

Compensation  Salary Range: $93,700.00-$. The anticipated range is an estimate; actual compensation is determined based on location, education, experience, and other factors.
