Position: Spacecraft Design Engineer Role at Boeing

In this role, you will collaborate with various teams to interpret design requirements and create effective spacecraft layouts. Engage in high-level engineering analyses to address performance metrics and cost concerns. Present your designs at key reviews while supporting mission objectives through solid analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop conceptual spacecraft configurations with CAD tools

• Optimize designs through engineering trade analyses

• Present designs and support engineering reviews

• Work with architects to create innovative spacecraft systems

• Prepare proposals including drawings and models

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering

• 5+ years of 3D CAD model experience

• Proven experience with cross-organizational engineering teams

• Must obtain U.S. Security Clearance

• Strong communication skills in a collaborative environment
